About this demo & metric definitions⌄
All numbers are generated locally from a fixed seed. This is a complete fictional 17-game season with 32 teams. No real statistics, live feeds, forecasts or betting advice are included. Example player profiles are illustrative and do not establish current rosters or ages.
The window selects each team's latest 3, 5, 7 or all 17 games, then applies Home, Away or Wins from that team's perspective. Player and defense samples may differ. Rankings compare the same metric across 32 simulated teams using these same filters; ties share a rank. Offense rankings use highest production first. Defense rankings use most allowed first.
All summary counting metrics are per game. Yards/carry and yards/reception divide sample yardage totals by sample carries and receptions; they are not averages of game ratios. A dash means no opportunity or no selected games. Position defense includes all players at that position, so WR totals include both simulated receivers. Overall passing and receiving describe the same plays and must not be added together.
Team offensive plays = pass attempts + rushing attempts. This simplified demo excludes sacks, penalties, overtime, injuries and bye weeks. Quarter percentages use play counts and sum to 100%. The step graph changes only at simulated scoring events, with touchdowns simplified to 7 points and field goals to 3. Team points and final margins match those events.
Real data integration will require verified rosters, game schedules, positional attribution and a separate data pipeline. This package works without any external services.
